When Emy Dyer started Burnt Toast, it wasn’t a brand. It was just her.

Her laptop. Her garage. Her ideas. Her nights spent designing clothes, writing copy, answering DMs, packing orders, and eventually… learning how to run Meta ads because there was no one else to do it.

“I design every piece of clothing. I do the branding. I was running Meta every night,” she said. “I didn’t even have time to design anymore and that’s what keeps the business alive.”

Purchases rose 36.9%.

ROAS didn’t collapse, it actually improved by 5.6%.

The system absorbed inflation and still became more efficient.

But the biggest shift wasn’t on the dashboard.

It was in Emy’s day.

Instead of toggling ads at midnight, she was designing again.

Instead of fixing emails, she was building brand.

Instead of reacting to problems, she was creating the future.

“I feel safe letting go now,” she said. “That’s new for me.”

And because the system was now aligned, retention turned into a real growth engine.

Email campaign revenue more than doubled (+104%).

SMS campaign revenue jumped 95.6%.

Repeat revenue climbed 43.5%, now representing nearly 50% of total sales.

Customers weren’t just buying.

In just 60 days, Burnt Toast hit its highest month ever… not because Emy worked harder (she actually had less work), but because the business finally stopped depending on her to function.
